You may be confused with the newer term Podiatry being used when talking about foot care.  Podiatrists and Chiropodists essentially do the same job - we all assess, diagnose and treat foot disorders.  We also assess the impact of those foot disorders on the mechanical balance of the body.

Once a diagnosis has been reached we will work with you to find the best solution for curing the problem or minimising its impact upon your daily living.

Problems like corns, callouses, nail and skin changes are often a sign of underlying structural or medical disorders.  It is important to not only treat them but to understand why they have arisen. Only then can we work together to make your daily living as easy as possible.
