This one day course was led by two highly experienced Podiatric Surgeons, and gave the participants a fuller understanding of this very common deformity and its surgical management. The day will be split in two with a morning session of lectures and discussions and the afternoon will be dedicated to practical sessions with workshops in:

ACRYLIC SAW BONES (to practice the common techniques of surgical correction)
ANATOMY
ANKLE BLOCK ANAESTHESIA (non-participating)

This will enhance your knowledge of hallux valgus surgery and, in addition, enhance the informed advice you give to your patients when:
• outlining possible treatment plans for their hallux valgus
• referring them for foot surgery
