Practice Accreditation

This means that we have had our high standards of care and professionalism independently assessed and approved by the United Kingdom's largest professional body. I am truly grateful to all our staff at the Practice who have been so supportive in helping us to achieve the standards required for the accreditation, it has been hard work all around and to have this recognised by our National body is indeed thrilling. We will of course continue to work hard to ensure that we not only maintain our standards but improve them over the coming years."

TOUR OUR NEW CLINIC
Following the opening of our purpose built facilities in Brown Street, Salisbury we have had a very successful year and have been able to welcome many old and new patients into our premises. The clinic is entirely based on the ground floor with excellent access to the Treatment and Consulting Rooms, with a very spacious waiting area. FOOT SCANNING – CUSTOM MADE ORTHOSES
Lyndon Jones now uses the SCANANY system for obtaining digital information on feet for the accurate prescription of custom made foot orthoses. Unlike the previous method of taking plaster of Paris casts, this is extremely quick and has no mess. The system is accurate to within 0.3mm.
Once obtained the image is electronically stored and transported via a secure internet access to the manufacturing base. This allows rapid production of orthoses with a time from scanning to fitting of approximately three weeks (previous systems would take at least six weeks).
The system is particularly useful for children as it requires very little time sitting still!
NEW CLINIC OPENING IN JANUARY 2008
We have taken the lease of a ground floor office in Salisbury - 31 Brown Street. This will allow us both to work together in a purpose designed clinic setting. The clinic will be equipped to the highest standard with up to the minute sterilisation facilities. Brown Street is located in the City Centre and offers excellent parking and access.
We look forward to opening the doors in January 2008.
